The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) and HRCE value educational research and are committed to promoting a strong culture of collaborative research and data-driven work in Nova Scotia. This goal must be balanced with the need to protect:

• Students’ and staff’s confidentiality and privacy
• Students’ and staff’s safety and well-being
